Leaf Clearing Strategy
Reviews
Leaf Clearing Strategy strips puzzle games down to a single, clear challenge: clear the board before moves run out. The special plants introduce a layer of planning that rewards observation and sequencing. The lack of a timer and the minimalist interface make it easy to pick up, though players seeking story or variety may find it too bare. Best for fans of logic puzzles who enjoy optimizing each move.
Description
The Core Mechanic
Each board is filled with leaf icons. Clicking a leaf makes it expand and disappear, consuming one move. The goal is to remove every leaf before your move counter hits zero. Because every click counts, you must think ahead and choose the order that clears the most leaves with the fewest actions.
Special Plants and Chain Reactions
Some leaves are marked as special. Activating one sends out tendrils that cause adjacent leaves to grow and vanish without using any remaining moves. Finding these special plants early and positioning them where they affect the largest cluster of nearby leaves is the key to conserving moves. A well-timed special plant can turn a tight board into a manageable one.
Clean, Nature-Inspired Interface
The game uses soft green tones and a minimal interface that shows only the board, your remaining moves, and a restart button. This uncluttered design keeps your attention on the puzzle. The layout adapts to any screen size, so it works equally well on desktop monitors and mobile devices.
Progression and Difficulty
As you complete boards, new layouts introduce more complex arrangements of leaves and special plants. The number of moves provided may shrink relative to the board size, demanding more careful planning. There is no timer, so you can take as long as you need to consider each move. This makes the game suitable for both quick breaks and longer sessions.
